Independent Monitoring & Oversight
We recognise that safeguarding, wellbeing and placement stability are often best understood through direct observation. Our unannounced visits provide an opportunity to assess day-to-day practice, monitor identified areas of concern and gain a realistic picture of how support is being delivered, whilst maintaining a child-centred and trauma-informed approach throughout.
Our experienced staff understand that children, young people and vulnerable adults may have experienced trauma, instability, disrupted relationships or previous service involvement. We therefore approach every visit with professionalism, sensitivity and respect, seeking to understand the lived experiences of those involved rather than simply observing behaviours or incidents in isolation.
