Activity Support
Meaningful Activities, Meaningful Outcomes
Our activity support service is available to both children and adults and is fully tailored to the individual. We understand that every person has different interests, abilities, aspirations and support needs, which is why we do not offer generic activity programmes. Instead, we work closely with the individual, their family and the wider professional network to develop a personalised plan that reflects what is important to them.
Every activity programme is supported by an individualised care plan and risk assessment, ensuring activities are safe, appropriate and focused on achieving meaningful outcomes. Whether someone enjoys swimming, walking, music, gaming, sports, arts and crafts, community groups, accessing local amenities, developing life skills, or trying entirely new experiences, our focus is on creating opportunities that are enjoyable, purposeful and built around the person.
We know that some individuals may have experienced adversity, placement instability, social isolation or previous negative experiences that affect their confidence and willingness to engage in activities. Our experienced staff take the time to build trust, understand what motivates the individual and provide support at a pace that feels safe and achievable for them.
