Mawson House

Mawson House is a specialist children's home operated by Involve Care Solutions, providing residential care for up to two children aged 8–17 with learning disabilities. As an Ofsted-registered children's home, Mawson House is regulated to provide safe, high-quality residential care in line with national standards. Located in Dorset, Mawson House offers a safe, warm and nurturing environment where children are supported to grow in confidence, develop independence and achieve positive outcomes.

We understand that every child is unique. Our approach is centred around getting to know each child as an individual, understanding their strengths, needs, interests and aspirations. Working closely with families, schools, social workers and other professionals, we provide highly personalised support that promotes stability, wellbeing and meaningful progress.

The home has been thoughtfully set up to create a comfortable and homely environment where children can feel safe and secure. Each child has their own bedroom, which they are encouraged to personalise, alongside access to welcoming communal spaces and a secure garden. The small size of the home allows us to provide consistent, relationship-based care and ensures that children receive the individual attention they deserve.

Mawson House specialises in supporting children with learning disabilities and may also support children with autism, ADHD, sensory processing needs, speech and language difficulties, and behaviours that may challenge. Our experienced staff team is committed to delivering compassionate, person-centred care that respects each child's communication style, routines, preferences and individual goals.
